2024 marks an important step for Objecta: with our first sustainability report, we are making our performance and progress in environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) transparent and measurable. The report follows the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and provides a concise summary of the key figures, measures, and developments of the 2024 fiscal year. This confirms that we systematically integrate environmental aspects into our processes, regularly review them, and continuously improve them. Since 2019, we have been working with ClimatePartner to record our corporate carbon footprint annually in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol). Consistent data collection and analysis makes our climate impact visible in its entirety, shows progress over the years and provides the basis for deriving effective reduction measures in a targeted manner.
The annual carbon footprint balance sheet is a central component of our environmental and climate management. This enables us to continuously control emissions, define specific target paths and sustainably reduce CO₂ emissions in relevant areas of the company. Our aim is to firmly anchor ecological responsibility in our day-to-day business - and to strengthen Objecta's sustainability in the long term.

CO₂-neutral by 2025 - with our customers
Based on our corporate carbon footprint, we want to be CO₂-neutral in Scope 1 & 2 by 2025. We are reducing emissions with measures such as greater energy efficiency and renewable energies - and supporting customers with PCF data and low-CO₂ solutions via buero-project.de.
