Ford-Werke GmbH, based in Cologne, is a subsidiary of the Ford Motor Company founded by Henry Ford in Detroit in 1903. The company made a significant impact on the automotive industry with the introduction of the assembly line in 1913.
Since 2015, mann Objecta has been commissioned to plan and implement the furnishing of Ford sales outlets in Germany. The range of services includes the planning, production and delivery of customized special furniture as well as the complete furnishing of the stores.
The furnishings are characterized by a predominantly white surface color, which is contrasted with anthracite grey in the base areas. This design highlights the colorful accents of the partitions and information walls and gives the interior a lively feel. In the customer waiting areas, mann Objecta integrates bistro corners with cupboard elements that house vending machines for hot drinks and refrigerators for refreshments.
The generously designed, curved service counter, which is equipped with half-height cabinet modules, attracts particular attention. Generous drawers with dividers offer sales staff efficient organization options for order management and office materials. The consultation stations are equipped with straight-lined tables and matching sideboards.
Standing shelves and accessory walls with variable plug-in modules are installed in the customer areas for sales items and model catalogs, which are functionally aligned. Display cases made of shimmering green safety glass serve as a design highlight and stand out clearly from the rest of the furniture.
