Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0

Designed as an open platform, the Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 (Future Workshop 4.0) is one of the most significant networks in the industry with about 130 partners. Innovative technologies and applications from the automotive and workshop sectors create future-oriented impulses there.

The Zukunftswerkstatt serves as a showcase of innovation, a training center, and a testing laboratory for the technologies, processes, and business models of tomorrow and beyond. "Digital information and communication media in customer interaction, new technologies in product presentation, decreasing revenue in the workshop area due to electromobility, as well as new value creation potentials through the Connected Car, are just a few examples of the high pressure for change. The top priority in the Zukunftswerkstatt is the full functionality of integrated applications. Therefore, visitors are invited to touch, compare, and try out various things – from vehicle scanners to exoskeletons and augmented reality (AR) glasses.

The Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 aims to provide employees in the automotive industry with impulses for shaping their own activities. It offers exciting insights and perspectives for apprentices, automotive mechatronics technicians, workshop managers, sales teams, and even CEOs. The core of the Zukunftswerkstatt is the extensive partner network. Currently, the Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 has 130 contractually fixed company cooperations. These range from small start-ups to established suppliers or manufacturers and inspection organizations. All these companies commit to presenting the latest solutions in Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0. It is, therefore, not a static entity but a living space that is continuously updated.

On behalf of mann Objecta, we are particularly delighted to be recognized as significant idea contributors and innovators in interior design and furnishings and have been chosen as a system partner for Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0. The initial meetings and the collaborative process during the implementation of spatial design were particularly inspiring, and mann Objecta was able to contribute its vast experience significantly. The entire design and development of furnishing elements, interior, wall paneling/cabinets, and presentation systems all come from mann Objecta's expertise.

In cooperation with our partner DAUPHIN, the seating concept for Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 was developed – offering versatile seminar seating for reception and work areas, as well as a meeting island in the sales area. Additionally, mann Objecta has contributed a special highlight – a vehicle podium customized for Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0 – which is available to partners AUDI and PORSCHE for showcasing their latest vehicles.
